Description
A leading restructuring and insolvency advisory firm is seeking an experienced Manager – Insolvency & Restructuring to join its Guernsey office. This role will support the directors in progressing complex restructuring cases and managing a growing team, contributing to the firm's regional expansion.
Key responsibilities:
• Leading the preparation and implementation of case strategies.
• Liaising with key stakeholders to agree on case strategies and progress cases effectively.
• Supervising, mentoring, and training junior team members, including Assistant Managers and Case Administrators.
• Planning, delegating, and monitoring cases to ensure timely and efficient completion.
• Reviewing statutory reports, case plans, estimated outcome statements, and cash flow projections.
• Monitoring WIP and costs to budget while identifying opportunities for asset realisation.
• Conducting investigations and risk assessments, escalating issues to directors as required.
• Liaising with solicitors, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate case progression.
• Overseeing cases from inception to exit or dissolution, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
The successful candidate will have:
• A minimum of five years of corporate insolvency or offshore financial services experience.
• Chartered accountant qualification, with expertise in forensic accounting.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring teams.
• Exceptional organisational and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, including Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, and London.
• The ability to contribute to the firm’s regional growth strategy and develop the team further.
