Job Title: Maths Teacher

Axcis Education is seeking a talented teacher to join a thriving mainstream secondary school in Bolton, committed to delivering high-quality education and achieving strong outcomes for all learners.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to teach Maths in a supportive environment that values both academic excellence and holistic development. While not a specialist SEND role, we welcome applications from teachers who are confident in delivering inclusive lessons that cater to diverse learning needs within a mainstream classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing clear feedback to support development.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement, promoting a positive learning environment.
Differentiate teaching strategies to support a wide range of learners, including those with mild additional needs.
Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental meetings and collaborative teaching initiatives.
Engage in school-wide professional development and enrichment activities as required.
Uphold the school’s safeguarding and pastoral responsibilities, ensuring the wellbeing of all students.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, including KS4.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for developing numeracy and mathematical thinking.
Confident classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
A commitment to inclusive education and high standards for all pupils.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
