Axcis Education is delighted to partner with nursery on the edge of Torquay, who are seeking a dedicated Preschool Room Leader to join their amazing team. The nursery hours are 8.15-.17.30. You will be paid between £13.85-£15.15 p/h, depending on previous experience and qualifications. You must be a Level 2 or a Level 3 experienced nursery practitioner on this position.
Key responsibilities include:
•Leading and supporting your team to ensure high-quality care and education
•Overseeing the safeguarding of children
•Implementing and reviewing learning plans to ensure each child's development is supported
•Providing strong leadership to promote positive relationships within the team
•Ensuring that all nursery policies and procedures are followed
About You:
•You have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare (essential)
•You have experience working in a childcare setting, with strong leadership and organisational skills
•You must be able to drive as we are located on the edge of Newton Abbot and Torquay (or must be able to be dropped off).
•You have a passion for working with children and helping them grow in a safe, nurturing environment
Working Hours & Benefits:
•Full-time hours, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM (or 4 days a week if preferred)
