Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected SEND provision based in Hildenborough (TN11), conveniently located next to the station. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and nurturing Nurture Teacher to support Primary and Secondary-aged learners with SEMH, ASD, and ADHD within a static classroom setting.
This role involves working with a small class of 5–6 boys, many of whom are working at Primary level despite being in Year 7 and present with low self-esteem around learning. The successful practitioner will take a whole-class teaching approach, delivering and covering a range of lessons within a consistent base environment, while also supporting access to subject specialists where appropriate. A key focus of the role is supporting learners who struggle with movement around the school, providing a calm, structured, and predictable setting to help reduce anxiety and support engagement.
Hours: 8:15am – 4:00pm
Start date: ASAP
Age Range: Primary & Secondary (Year 7 working at Primary level)
Special Educational Needs: SEMH, ASD, ADHD
Location: Hildenborough, TN11, next to the station
About You:
We are looking for a patient, resilient, and relationship-focused educator with experience in SEND or a strong background in primary-style teaching. You will be confident delivering a broad curriculum within a nurture-style classroom and skilled at adapting learning to meet a wide range of needs. The ability to build strong, trusting relationships is essential, along with a calm and consistent approach to behaviour and emotional regulation.
Why This Role:
Join a supportive and inclusive SEND provision where nurture, stability, and relationships are central to learning.
Make a genuine impact on pupils with complex needs by re-engaging them in education and rebuilding confidence and self-esteem.
Benefit from an easily accessible location right next to the station, supporting a straightforward daily commute.
