Our Bedfont based client is seeking an experienced Ocean Pricing Analyst to join their team.

Working in a dynamic team you will be responsible for setting up pricing for Ocean freight shipments within Europe . Customer interaction and retention is also part of the role.

Responsibilities:
- Answer ad-hoc quote requests & RFO participation
- Work closely with the Sales & Account Management team in order to handle the requests on time that are coming in from their customers
regarding pricing
- Maintain contact with bid owners and follow up on bids
- Liaise with carriers to work out vessel options and rates
- Ensure all pricing is up to date
- Identify opportunities and challenges
- Manage deadlines
- Follow up on RFQ outcomes

Knowledge & Candidate Skills required :
- Understanding of Ocean shipments
- Experience of pricing and industry knowledge
- Good knowledge and understanding of incoterms
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Excellent attention to detail

Mon - Fri 8am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5pm
26 days a year work from home -no hybrid set days
23 Days Holiday then after 5 years of service an extra day is added after 10 years 2 days is added
