Description

Join a leading international banking institution committed to delivering operational excellence through strategic platform innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Platform Support Officer to provide essential business support across the Channel Islands, UK, and Mauritius.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing key platform initiatives, bridging technical and business requirements, and ensuring the integrity and efficiency of internal systems.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Investigating and resolving business-raised issues promptly and effectively.
• Acting as a liaison between Business Applications Management and front-line departments to translate business needs into actionable system specifications.
• Developing and executing test plans for application upgrades and changes.
• Delivering business training as needed during system roll-outs or updates.
• Identifying and mitigating operational risks through robust controls.
• Supporting continuous improvement efforts to maximise platform efficiency and user experience.
• Maintaining clear, effective internal communications across departments.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience in a business/technical analysis or change management capacity, with a demonstrable track record in systems delivery and support. They will bring excellent IT capabilities and a structured approach to problem-solving, ideally supported by relevant professional qualifications. Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style are essential. A willingness to travel as required is also necessary to fulfil the demands of this regional role.
