About the Role
As Plant & Asset Manager, you’ll play a key role in our Plant Department, ensuring the smooth operation of our assets and facilities. You’ll lead the day-to-day management of the plant equipment, vehicles, and tools—approximately 800 pieces of plant, 6 HGVs, 200 vans, and more.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers, keeping our systems up to date, ensuring compliance, and helping us grow with confidence.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Oversee the tracking and management of all plant and vehicle assets
• Maintain certification records and asset databases
• Work with our workshop team (manager + 5 fitters)
• Coordinate new equipment purchases and logistics
• Organise signwriting and GPS installations
• Manage asset movement between sites
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors
• Produce monthly reports and attend regular meetings
• Handle invoice approvals and resolve queries
• Manage lifting equipment testing and certification
• Oversee the plant office and administrative functions

What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated, organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a background in managing plant, parts, or vehicle operations.
You’ll Need:
• At least 1 year of experience in a Plant, Parts, or Vehicle role (essential)
• Proven track record of running or managing a busy plant department
• Strong organisational and managerial skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
