We’re currently working with a well-established and growing residential groundworks contractor who is looking to appoint a Junior / Aspiring Plant Controller to support their busy operations team in Redditch.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in plant coordination or plant administration within construction or civil engineering, looking to develop their career within the groundworks sector.
The role will involve:
• Coordinating the allocation of plant and equipment to live sites
• Liaising with site teams, suppliers, and plant hire companies
• Monitoring plant usage, hire periods, and off-hire arrangements
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and cost controls
• General plant administration and record keeping
Ideal background:
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident using systems and spreadsheets
