The Opportunity
In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of a diverse and complex portfolio of trust and company structures. This isn't just about high-level administration; it’s a strategic leadership position where you will act as a mentor and guide for a team of administrators, ensuring the highest standards of client service are met across the board. You will be the bridge between senior management and the operational team, playing a vital part in the smooth running of the department.
Key Responsibilities
• Portfolio Leadership: Manage the day-to-day administration of varied asset types and complex entities, ensuring all communication and transactional work is handled with precision.
• Team Development: Guide, support, and encourage your team in line with the established management framework, providing essential training and day-to-day assistance.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain and build robust relationships with clients and intermediaries, ensuring a 24-hour response time for all communications.
• Strategic Support: Assist Directors and Senior Management with the on-boarding of new business and represent the team at monthly management meetings.
• Governance & Compliance: Maintain B level signatory status, manage risk assessments, and ensure all client due diligence remains compliant and up to date.
• Financial Oversight: Manage a personal and team utilization target of 65%, overseeing billing reviews and fee collection.
Your Profile
Our client is looking for a proactive professional who balances technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. To be successful, you will likely possess:
• Experience: A minimum of 7 years’ experience in an administrative role, ideally within the Fiduciary Services sector.
• Qualifications: Ideally, you will hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP, ICSA, or ACCA.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with high-net-worth clients and professional intermediaries.
• Technical Savvy: Strong IT skills, particularly across the Microsoft Office suite, and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Attributes: A flexible, "can-do" attitude with the ability to work under your own initiative while fostering a collaborative team environment.
