Crowe Watson Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Edinburgh to recruit a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will join a well-established and growing Private Client Tax team, contributing to a varied and interesting portfolio of clients.

As a key member of the tax department, you will be responsible for managing and reviewing a wide range of personal tax compliance and advisory work. You will work closely with Partners and senior staff, helping to deliver an exceptional service to clients including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates. There will be excellent scope for progression within the firm, and support will be provided for further development of both technical knowledge and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of private clients
Review tax returns and ensure timely and accurate compliance
Provide advice on a range of personal tax issues
Support Partners and senior team members on tax planning and advisory projects
Mentor and support junior team members
Build and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements
CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
At least three years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
A proactive approach and keen eye for detail
