Responsibilities

Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns for a varied portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals and partnerships
Assisting with the delivery of personal tax advisory services, identifying planning opportunities and communicating these clearly to clients
Supporting senior team members with research and technical queries relating to capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and income tax matters
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day queries
Contributing to the overall efficiency and development of the private client tax department

Requirements

Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Solid experience in personal tax compliance, with exposure to a range of private client matters
Strong working knowledge of relevant tax legislation, including self-assessment, CGT, and IHT
ATT qualified or working towards ATT/CTA, or qualified by experience
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels
