Job Title: Project Manager—Plumbing
Salary: $80,000-$110,000
Function: Industrial and commercial
The Client
We have a fantastic opportunity a market-leading MEP construction contractor. They are currently looking for a senior project, project manager or an engineer who is looking to step into project management looking to work with a leading contractor in Buffalo.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Consults with the client to determine functional and technical requirements of the scope of work and prepares estimates regarding labor, materials, equipment, estimated costs and construction time
• Uses extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts to properly identify and process scope changes, address issues, communicate regarding project milestones, etc.
• Ensures all equipment, tools, and employees assigned to the project operate in accordance with government regulations, customer requirements, company policy, and safety requirements.
• Travels to job sites on a regular basis to oversee projects.
Experience:
• Experience in commercial or industrial plumbing systems
• 3 years’ experience in project management.
• Competent in communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task
• Proven success in delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget.
Preferences:
Degree in Mechanical, industrial engineering or electrical engineering or other related discipline.
