We are currently looking for a Temporary SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator for a role in Enfield. The Temporary SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator will provide a comprehensive service to enable the Local Authority (LA) fulfil its statutory duties in relation to the assessment of pupils with special educational needs by ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of statutory procedures and the appropriate placement and ongoing provision arrangements for Enfield residing pupils both inside and outside the LA area.
Purpose of the Role:
To support the raising of standards and narrowing of identified achievement gaps through the implementation of appropriate curriculum approaches to learning and teaching with a focus on children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Undertake planning, preparation, reporting and follow up work as part of school-based consultancy to schools in Enfield, in line with schools’ and LA plans.
Organise and provide training to upskill Enfield School staff in meeting a broad range of SEND.
