Job Description
Location: Home with occasional travel to the office and client premises
Full time: 37.5 hours
Reporting to: Head of Sales

Key Responsibilities
In this exciting and varied role, you will:
• Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services
• Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
• Build relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
• Pitch sales and products to new and existing clients
• Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
• Create sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
• Possess a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure that the requirements are met

The Person
You will be able to:
• Demonstrate a track record in new business sales, ideally in a consultative environment.
• Handle your own leads and opportunities, closing deals and ensuring the administration of the process is up to date
• Sell ideas, products, and services
• Manage your time effectively and multi-task
• Demonstrate a strategic and creative mind
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills
• Understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client’s requirements
• Demonstrate strong IT skills and knowledge of necessary software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other statistical analysis software.
• Motivate yourself and others
• Show a solid understanding of business and marketing principles
