Axcis Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support learning in a mainstream secondary school in Trafford. This is a general classroom support role, working closely with teaching staff to help deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to pupils aged 11–16.
The successful candidate will work with students across a range of subjects and may also support those with additional needs to ensure they are accessing the curriculum effectively.
Essential requirements:
#Must have previous experience working in a UK secondary school
#Experience supporting students with special or additional educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
#Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
#Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, supportive attitude
#Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
