Axcis Education are working closely to support a well-regarded Alternative Provision in Torbay, who require passionate full time SEND Teacher from September 2026. This is delivering subjects - mostly at primary aged level - across the curriculum. The hours are 8.30-16.00, and the rate of pay will be between £170-£220 a day, depending on your teaching experience and qualifications.

About the Role:
•Start date: 23rd September 2026
•Days: Monday to Friday (Full Time)
•Location: Torbay, Devon
•Setting: Alternative Provision (supporting students with SEMH and ADHD)
•Salary: Paid against Main Pay Scale for Qualified for Unqualified Teachers (Daily Equivalent)
•Potential: Long-term opportunity with potential to become full-time and permanent

Requirements:
•Experience working with students with SEND, particularly SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and ADHD
•Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students
•Confidence in managing behaviour and delivering learning in a creative, flexible way
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience as a Cover Supervisor in a similar environment is highly desirable
