A specialist SEN school in EN3 is looking for committed Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Autism/ASD, Non- Verbal, SEMH and significant behavioural needs. The school caters for both primary and secondary age groups, and your placement within the department will depend on experience and suitability. You will help deliver structured support, encourage positive behaviour, and provide guidance to help students manage emotions and remain engaged in learning.
The school is looking for someone who:
-Has experience with SEMH and behavioural needs
-Remains calm under pressure and uses de-escalation strategies
-Builds positive relationships with challenging learners
-Works confidently within a supportive multidisciplinary team
