Teaching Assistant – College Setting – Redbridge
Axcis is proud to be working with a fantastic college in Redbridge that is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time or part-time basis. Start date: September 2025
Contract type: Long-term, also possible temporary to permanent.
Working hours: Full time
Location: Redbridge
Hourly rate: £13.70
About the Role:
- Work with students aged 16 to 21, both in classroom group settings and on a 1:1 basis.
- Support learners with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated tutor, receiving ongoing support and guidance.
- Follow tailored lesson plans to meet individual students’ needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young people with SEN, particularly in a secondary aged or post 16 setting.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a resilient personality.
- A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
- A commitment to supporting student success through challenge, personalisation, and innovation.
