Axcis Education are working closely to support a well-regarded SEND provision in Torbay, who require a full time SEND Teacher from October 2026. This is delivering subjects - mostly at primary aged level - across the curriculum. The hours are 8.30-15.30, and the rate of pay will be between £175-£230 a day, depending on your teaching experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

•Days: Monday to Friday (Full Time)

•Setting: SEND provision for students with MLD and ASD (supporting students with MLD).
•Salary: £175-£230

Requirements:
•Experience working with students with SEND, particularly SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and ADHD
•Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students
•Confidence in managing behaviour and delivering learning in a creative, flexible way
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience as a Cover Supervisor in a similar environment is highly desirable
