Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties Teaching Assistant

Axcis Education is currently seeking multiple Teaching Assistants to join a well-regarded special school in the Bury area, supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis across Key Stages 1–4.

This school is dedicated to making a positive impact on young people’s lives, focusing on both personal growth and academic achievement. As a SEND School, it operates under a strong core values system that encourages pupils to take responsibility for their actions and make positive choices with increasing independence.

We are looking for enthusiastic, resilient, and compassionate individuals who have experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly in:
• ASD
• SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
• Challenging behaviour

Previous experience supporting SEND students is essential

Start date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
