Axcis are pleased to be working with mainstream settings in the Salford and Greater Manchester area. Are you an experienced teaching assistants or recent graduate with SEND knowledge/transferable skills looking for a new role?

Pay Rate: £89-105 (dependent on experience)
Location: Salford/ Greater Manchester
Position: SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA)
Contract Type: Full time/Part time/ Day to Day/ Long term
Start Date: ASAP

As a teaching assistant with Axcis you will:
• Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child/ren you will be working with.
• Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
• Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum.
• Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
• Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.

About our schools:
• Are currently recruiting additional SEND Teaching Assistants (SEND TA’s) in schools in Salford and surrounding areas.
• Are predominantly mainstream primary and secondary schools. However, we do have roles available in other settings for the right candidate.
• Have mixed cohorts of SEND, including but not limited too- ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) , ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health)
