SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Brent)
Location: Brent – near Harlesden & Wembley High Road
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time, until at least the end of the academic year (with potential to go permanent)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND secondary school in the Brent area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a real difference to young people with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

-Supporting students with a range of SEND needs in a secondary school setting

-Managing and supporting challenging behaviour calmly and effectively

-Providing personal care where required

-Working closely with teachers and other support staff

Essential Requirements:

-Previous experience working with SEND students

-Experience supporting challenging behaviour

-Willingness to carry out personal care

-Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

-Able to commit full-time until at least the end of the academic year
