Axcis Education is looking for a dedicated and resilient Educational Support Worker to join our specialist team supporting young people aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), ADHD, autism, and challenging behaviour. The school provides education for pupils with complex needs and maintains a positive, nurturing approach to behaviour support.

The Role
• Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Supporting students with SEMH needs, ADHD, autism, and behavioural challenges.
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and develop positive coping strategies.
• Encouraging engagement, attendance, and participation in learning.
• Providing individual and small-group support across the curriculum.
• Promoting positive behaviour in line with school policies.
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and personal development.
• Assisting young people to build confidence, resilience, self-esteem, and independence.
• Helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their individual goals.
• Contributing to a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Opportunities to do outreach work with the students
