Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Analyst – Investment, Fiduciary and Pension.
Overall purpose of the role:
To join the Investment, Fiduciary and Pension division in a varied role that offers the opportunity to work within both the supervisory on-site team and desk-based team. This is a great opportunity for someone in the Funds, Trust or Pension sectors wanting the opportunity to upskill, cross train or work across multiple firms to assess industry as a whole. Part of a large, friendly team (30 people) with opportunities both to get out and about on-site or be more desk based in the office. This is also a great opportunity for fund accountants.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role include:
• Planning and leading on-site visits; conducting research, analysing and identifying key issues in information and data and considering matters to raise.
• Reviewing files, assessing risks and accurate minute taking.
• Assisting with maintaining and developing the relationships.
• This could include analysis of and decision-making on, matters requiring the approval, consent or comment and supporting the Authorisations and Innovations Division to investigate and assess applications for licences, registrations and exemptions.
• Analysing licensees’ periodic returns and financial statements and any other information which might affect their continuing ability to meet the licensing criteria.
• Analysing the sector as a whole, producing trend documents, incorporating risk based analysis and presenting findings back to the industry sector as necessary.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
• A good working knowledge of the investment, fiduciary or pension sectors and be looking for a new challenge.
