Our client is the regulatory body for the finance sector in the Bailiwick of Guernsey seeking to recruit a Senior Analyst – Investment, Fiduciary and Pension, Guernsey.

Overall purpose of the role:

This is an opportunity to work within the supervisory on-site team. The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of / experience dealing with stock exchanges and have experience with conducting on-site visits.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Assisting with the supervision of stock exchanges and other trading venues.
• Assist where required in PRISM visit planning process to ensure that the Visit Planner is up to date and the Balance Scorecard objectives are delivered on a timely basis.
• Planning and leading on-site visits; conducting research, analysing and identifying key issues in information and data and considering matters to raise.
• Leading interviews with a firm’s Directors and other senior staff. Reviewing files, assessing risks and accurate minute taking.
• Analysing the sector as a whole, producing trend documents, incorporating risk based analysis and presenting findings back to the industry sector as necessary.

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant previous experience of working in a similar role.
• Ideally have knowledge of / experience dealing with stock exchanges and have experience with conducting on-site visits.
