Our client, a leading offshore law firm, is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its Guernsey practice on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will advise local and international clients on complex legal matters, manage your own caseload and lead transaction teams. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documentation, developing client relationships and supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.

Applicants should hold relevant professional legal qualifications, ideally from a common law jurisdiction, with experience in corporate, finance, financial services, regulatory, insolvency, restructuring, intellectual property or funds law. Strong drafting skills and a practical, commercial approach are essential.

Around five years’ post-qualification experience is preferred, although candidates will be assessed on their relevant technical knowledge and skills.
