This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic infrastructure team as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud Services, where you will play a key role in delivering advanced cloud solutions across multiple jurisdictions. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and managing enterprise-level infrastructure platforms, ensuring resilience, scalability, and regulatory alignment. The role offers scope to lead technology evolution across cloud and virtualisation services, while working closely with internal stakeholders and external clients.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Leading the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based platforms, including IaaS, disaster recovery, backup, and network security services.
• Acting as a subject matter expert in infrastructure architecture, system virtualisation, and enterprise storage technologies.
• Overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud projects, from initial scoping to delivery and ongoing optimisation.
• Proactively identifying and integrating new technologies to improve service delivery and meet evolving client needs.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of complex infrastructure solutions.
• Managing technical incidents and undertaking root cause analysis to drive service improvement.
• Maintaining system documentation and ensuring compliance with operational, regulatory, and audit standards.
• Supporting junior engineers and contributing to knowledge-sharing across the wider technical team.
The ideal candidate will have:
A strong background in infrastructure engineering with proven experience in a senior technical role, ideally within a service-led environment. Expert-level understanding of VMware, storage systems, backup technologies, and networking is essential. The ability to work collaboratively, deliver complex solutions, and communicate effectively is key. A VCP certification or similar technical qualification is highly desirable.
