The Role You will architect, install, and operate the hardware and software powering a comprehensive cloud suite. From IaaS and disaster recovery to SDN and security, you will lead end-to-end delivery across VMware, Nutanix, and Azure Hub, ensuring resilient and automated infrastructure for high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities
• Architect & Manage: Lead design and 3rd-line support for virtualisation stacks, storage, and cloud environments.
• Network & Security: Oversee SDN (Cisco, Arista, Juniper) and enterprise firewalls (Fortinet).
• Innovation: Investigate and automate new technologies to meet evolving infrastructure and capacity needs.
• Consultancy: Partner with enterprise clients to design and onboard complex cloud solutions.
• Security & Lifecycle: Collaborate on asset hardening and performance analysis to ensure service excellence.

What You’ll Bring
• Experience: 5+ years in a senior systems/infrastructure role, ideally in a service provider environment.
• Technical Depth: Expertise in compute, storage, and backup (Veeam/Zerto).
• Virtualisation: Deep knowledge of VMware Cloud Director or platforms like Nutanix AHV.
• Certifications: Professional-level qualifications such as VCP, MCSE, or CCNP.

The Essentials
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
• Flexibility: Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
