Description

Our client is an independent, leading global fiduciary and professional services provider with a 50-year heritage and a network spanning 15 jurisdictions. They are looking for an experienced professional to lead their end-to-end new business onboarding process across the Channel Islands and the U.K.. This central function carries significant strategic weight, overseeing a multijurisdictional team to deliver operational excellence and robust regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
• Onboarding Strategy: Lead and refine the centralized onboarding journey using the KYC360 platform, ensuring strict alignment with regulatory and operational standards.
• Risk & Compliance: Oversee comprehensive KYC, AML, and client suitability assessments while managing system-based risk controls.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for third-party introducers, prospective clients, and external legal or tax advisers.
• System Optimization: Own and evolve the KYC360 platform and drive enhancements to the core Acumen database to optimize data quality and reporting.
• Leadership & Governance: Manage, coach, and mentor a cross-jurisdictional team, fostering a culture of professional growth and upward feedback.
• Reporting: Consolidate new business take-on analytics, review lost or rejected opportunities to identify trends, and support regulatory examinations.

Experience & Skillset
• Industry Experience: A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience within a cross-jurisdictional Private Wealth, Funds, or Corporate Services environment.
• Qualifications: A recognized professional qualification relevant to the sector.
• Technical Knowledge: Advanced understanding of sector risks (regulatory, data security), ownership structures, and industry best practices.
• Leadership Ability: Proven track record of managing multijurisdictional teams and developing junior colleagues.
• Communication: Exceptional report writing, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the commercial acumen required to interact directly with high-value prospects.
