Job title: Site Quality & Compliance Manager
Location: Southwest (Cornwall, Devon, Somerset & Dorset)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Mon-Fri 08:00 - 17:00
Salary: £60k- £70k (negotiable)
An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced construction professional to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation as a Site Quality & Compliance Manager.
This newly created role offJers the chance to play a pivotal part in shaping the future direction of the business, ensuring that the highest standards of quality and compliance are consistently delivered across all developments.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Production Director, you will take ownership of quality assurance and regulatory compliance across multiple live sites. Working closely with Project Managers and Contracts Managers, you will oversee progress, maintain standards, and ensure developments meet all required specifications and regulations.
You will also act as a key point of contact for clients, providing reassurance that works are being carried out in full compliance with industry and legal requirements, fostering strong and mutually beneficial relationships.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering long-term career progression and the opportunity to influence and enhance quality standards across the business.
The role will cover selected projects across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, therefore flexibility and willingness to travel within these areas is essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Creating, reviewing and maintaining audit sheets
• Conducting regular site audits to ensure quality standards are upheld
• Ensuring compliance with site drawings, specifications, NHBC and Building Regulations
• Maintaining effective document control and record-keeping in line with industry best practice
• Reviewing and updating company documentation as required
• Liaising regularly with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction
• Collaborating closely with Project and Contracts Managers to oversee quality control
• Reporting to the Production Director on compliance and quality performance
• Visiting sites as required to personally assess standards and regulatory adherence
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Proven experience in a quality control and compliance-focused position
• A background at Site Manager or Contracts Manager level
• Strong experience within construction and/or groundworks (essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive approach and genuine interest in maintaining exceptional site standards
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
