Are you experienced in supporting individuals with PMLD across various age groups? Axcis Education is seeking dedicated teaching assistants to contribute to the enriching school experience of young people with significant SEND in one of Reading's prestigious special schools. Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting toileting and changing and may be offered the opportunity to undergo manual handling training. Additionally, a willingness to actively participate in hydrotherapy sessions in the school pool, integral to many pupils' care plans, is essential. Remuneration for teaching assistants is £87.04 per day for a 6.5 hour workday (8:30am to 3:30pm excluding lunch), with both full-time and part-time positions available. The school is conveniently located with easy access by bus, train or car and on-site parking is provided.
