Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Contract: Agency, term time only
Pay: From £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Axcis Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to support children in a primary school setting. The school has a very friendly atmosphere and a supportive environment and is well liked by all staff we have sent to them in the past. Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
• Assisting with small-group and one-to-one learning
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Providing support to pupils with additional needs as required
• Promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding the wellbeing of all students
Requirements:
• Experience working with children (school, childcare, tutoring, youth work, or similar)
• A valid child and adult DBS registered on the update service
• Punctual, reliable, and professional
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and develop your skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
