A welcoming secondary school in Nailsea is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people succeed – whether you have experience in education or come from a youth support or care background.

The Role

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, behavioural needs).

Work alongside teachers and the SENCO to adapt learning, encourage independence, and promote a positive classroom atmosphere.

Support with lesson engagement, behaviour, and social development.

What We’re Looking For

Caring, resilient, and reliable with strong communication skills.

Experience supporting young people (in school, care, or youth work settings).

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Confidence working with teenagers and a positive, calm approach.
