Axcis Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bristol for a Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with SEMH and behavioural needs.
This role is to start as soon as possible and will initially be morning-only hours, before progressing to a full-time position after February half term.
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 12:30pm (initially)
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (from after February half term)
About the Role:
• Supporting a Year 2 with SEMH and behavioural difficulties
• Based in a mini resource base within the school
• Working alongside two other experienced teaching assistants
• Supporting three existing SEND pupils in a structured, nurturing environment
• Helping pupils regulate emotions, engage with learning, and develop positive behaviour strategies
