Description
SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary Site (Hounslow)
We are looking for a committed and reliable SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary SEND school in the Hounslow area. This is a full-time, term-time only role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.
Details:
• Location: Hounslow (Secondary SEND site)
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
• Term time only
• Pay: £92.63 per day (PAYE), starting rate
• Start: Immediate / ASAP
The school offers a supportive and inclusive environment where staff work closely as a team to ensure pupils receive the right level of care and learning support. You will be supporting students with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning and develop independence.
Experience working with SEND is preferred, whether through professional settings or personal experience supporting family or friends. The role may involve some personal care on occasion, so a willingness and confidence to support with this where needed is important. This will not be with all students, and full guidance and support will be provided.
We are looking for someone who is patient, resilient, and genuinely interested in supporting young people with additional needs. A positive attitude and ability to build strong relationships with students and staff is key.
If you're looking for a rewarding role in a friendly SEND setting where you can make a real difference each day, we'd love to hear from you.
