Axcis Education is working with a welcoming primary school in BS11, Bristol to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide full-time support to two pupils with Global Developmental Delay. This rewarding role begins in Term 5 and offers the opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s early learning journey.

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Global Delay
• Deliver tailored learning activities to support development across key areas
• Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to support ongoing development

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
• Empathetic, patient and understanding in their approach
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Experienced in supporting children with SEND (desirable but not essential)
• Positive, proactive and able to use their initiative
