We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a brilliant specialist school for pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs.
Our school brings together teachers, teaching assistants, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists to deliver a highly integrated approach that supports every pupil’s communication, learning and wellbeing.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils with speech, language and communication needs across primary and secondary phases
• Work alongside teachers, SALT and OT as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support
• Use strategies such as visual supports, pre-teaching vocabulary and multi-sensory learning
• Help pupils access learning through adapted language and structured routines
• Support communication, emotional regulation and independence
We are looking for someone who:
• Is patient, positive and passionate about supporting children with SEND
• Has good communication and teamwork skills
• Is willing to learn and develop specialist skills in SLCN
• Has experience working with children
