Salary: £89 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)

A mainstream secondary school in Woking is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support for SEND students across Key Stages 3 and 4 from September 2025. This is a full-time, term-time only role (Monday to Friday), initially for one academic year.
About the Role:
You will work within classrooms across KS3 and KS4, supporting SEND pupils to access the curriculum and participate fully in lessons. Your role will include:
– Providing in-class support to SEND students across a range of subjects
– Assisting with differentiated learning activities and resources
– Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
– Collaborating closely with teachers and the SEND team to implement individual learning plans
– Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour within the classroom environment
Applicants should have:
– Experience or a strong interest in supporting SEND students in a secondary school setting
– Patience, empathy, and good communication skills
– The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
– Flexibility to support pupils with varying needs and across different subjects
– A relevant TA qualification or classroom experience (desirable)
