Description
We are looking for an experienced, confident Nursery TA to support a child who requires consistent, firm, and compassionate care within a nursery setting.
This role is ideal for someone calm under pressure, emotionally resilient, and skilled at supporting children who display challenging behaviours.
About the Role
• Supporting a student on a 1:1 basis
• Full days, Monday to Thursday (Potential to extend to Friday)
• Based within a nursery environment
• Start date: January
Child’s Support Needs
• Requires firm, clear boundaries
• Can be destructive when dysregulated
• Needs an adult who can remain calm, kind, and consistent
• Benefits from structured routines and predictable responses
We Are Looking For Someone Who Is:
• Experienced with early years and challenging behaviour
• Emotionally resilient and confident
• Kind, patient, and nurturing, while able to be firm
• Comfortable working closely with nursery staff
• Able to de-escalate situations and model positive behaviour
• Reliable and committed to building consistency
Essential Requirements
• Experience working with children aged 3–4
• Background in nursery, early years, SEN, or behavioural support
• Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
