Teaching Assistant
Location: Glastonbury
Pay: £90–£95/day PAYE
Hours: 08:30–15:30, Mon–Fri, term-time

Axcis Education is recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to support KS1 pupils in a mainstream primary school in Glastonbury. This Teaching Assistant role focuses on helping children with SEND thrive in the classroom.

Key points:

• Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with SEND
• Support teachers in delivering learning activities
• Help children develop confidence, independence, and social skills
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

You’ll need:

• Professional or personal experience working with SEND or young people is desired
• Patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm
