Teaching Assistant – SEND Support (Primary)
We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant (SEND Support) to join a welcoming mainstream primary school based in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in the classroom.
Role Details:
• Location: Lewisham
• Role: Teaching Assistant – SEND Support
• Setting: Mainstream Primary School (KS1 & KS2)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Pay: Starting rate £92.63 PAYE per day
• Ongoing / term-time only
The Role:
You will support pupils with additional needs across KS1 and KS2, working closely with class teachers and the SEND team. Duties may include 1:1 support, small group interventions, and helping pupils access learning in a positive and inclusive way.
Requirements:
• SEND experience preferred but not essential
• Experience working with children in any capacity is desirable
• A positive attitude, patience, and genuine passion for supporting children
• Flexibility to work across KS1 & KS2
• Good communication and teamwork skills
