You’ll need to demonstrate strong behaviour management, the ability to maintain firm but fair boundaries, and a warm, patient approach that encourages trust and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consistent, trauma-informed support to pupils within a primary classroom.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Support children in developing confidence, communication, and independence.
• Participate in weekly staff training focused on behaviour, SEND, and trauma-informed practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience working with or supporting young people with SEND (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach.
• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
This is a rewarding, long-term role within a supportive and progressive setting. If you are ready to make a meaningful difference and enjoy a role that’s both challenging and fun, we’d love to hear from you.
