Teaching Assistant – Autism Support (Primary School)

Location: Clapham Junction
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: £89–£95 per day PAYE (depending on experience)
Hours: 08:45 – 16:00/16:45, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with autism at a welcoming primary school in Clapham Junction. This is a rewarding full-time role with the potential to transition into a permanent contract following the probation period.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 classroom support

Assist with learning activities

Encourage social and emotional development

Work closely with teaching staff

Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

Experience supporting pupils with autism or other SEN

Patient, reliable, and proactive approach

Strong communication skills

Enhanced DBS check

Right to work in the UK
