Vacancy: Van Driver /Warehouse Assistant

We are recruiting for a reliable, experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join a successful company in the Hemel Hempstead area.
You will be the face of the company so therefore you must be presentable, polite and have excellent customer service skills.
This can be a physically demanding job requiring the loading and unloading of products from the vehicle; therefore, you must be physically fit.
You must hold a full, current, clean UK driving license and previous experience of working as a delivery driver is essential.
This is a full-time permanent position that requires a flexible attitude towards your workload.
You could be doing around 10-15 deliveries a day depending on locations. Some days will be quieter and you may be required to assist in the warehouse when needed.
Job Description
Efficient loading of vehicles and making deliveries to sites and customers.
Ensure all loads are secure, stable and not hazardous.
Ensure that the vehicle is roadworthy and safe. Performing the checks that are included in the standard company procedures.
Accurately completing delivery paperwork
Collecting and/delivering goods to and from other branches.
Assisting in the role of the Warehouse Assistants, controlling the flow of stock through a warehouse, monitoring goods in and out, safely and efficiently moving, handling items and keeping accurate stock records.
