Rhodium Consulting is currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Warehouse Assistant on behalf of a well-established electrical wholesaler.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a successful business, delivering electrical products to customers and supporting the branch with day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out local deliveries of electrical products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload the company vehicle, ensuring goods are handled correctly.
• Check orders and delivery paperwork to ensure accuracy.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders ready for dispatch.
• Receive deliveries and assist with checking incoming stock.
• Maintain an organised, clean and tidy warehouse environment.
• Assist with stock control and general warehouse duties.
• Provide a professional and friendly service when dealing with customers.
• Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy.
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds a full, valid UK driving licence.
• Has previous van driving, warehouse or delivery experience.
• Is reliable, punctual and well organised.
• Has a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role.
• Possesses good communication and customer service skills.
• Is comfortable with manual handling and physical warehouse duties.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience within electrical wholesale, trade supplies or a similar environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
