Job role - Warehouse Assistant
Location - Maidstone
Salary - Negotiable + Bonus

As our clients business continues to grow, they’re seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join their busy branch in Maidstone.

Responsibilities:
• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries of electrical products and materials
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch to customers and branches
• Accurately locating and handling stock such as cables, lighting, switches, conduits, and tools
• Maintaining stock levels and assisting with stock counts and inventory checks
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
• Loading and unloading goods, using manual handling equipment where required
• Liaising with colleagues, drivers, and trade counter staff to ensure timely order fulfilment
• Identifying damaged or missing items and reporting discrepancies
• Supporting general warehouse operations to keep the business running efficiently
• Occasional cover on the delivery van
Skills/experience:
• Warehouse experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced and professional environment
• Live within commutable distance to Reading
• Team player
Hours:
• Monday to Friday 7:30pm - 5:30pm
• 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am - 12pm
