Year 2 Primary Teacher (KS1) – Mainstream Primary School – Redhill – September 2026 Start
We are currently recruiting for a Year 2 Primary Teacher (KS1 Teacher) to join a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Redhill from September 2026.
This is a full-time teaching role (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm), offering an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive KS1 team, delivering engaging lessons and preparing pupils for the transition into KS2.
The Role:
Full class responsibility for a Year 2 class
Planning and delivering creative, engaging KS1 lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Supporting pupil progress, including SATs preparation and assessment
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Working closely with teaching assistants and wider staff team
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school (KS1 / Year 2 preferred)
Strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
Confidence with phonics, literacy and numeracy delivery
Passion for primary education and pupil development
Salary:
£150 – £180 per day (PAYE), depending on experience
