Description

Start date: Flexible
Clearance: NATO Secret or Equivalent
Location: Oeiras, Portugal

Activities:

• Prepare in advance for each training iteration (review/update materials, plan lessons, test practical exercises)
• Ensure training environment is fully set up and all materials are current and available to students
• Align preparation with Coordination & Support Branch, AIRC2 Section Head, and Quality Assurance
• Deliver course iterations in line with Course Control Documents (CCDs), lesson schedule, and lesson plans
• Conduct and complete all student assessments as required
• Produce a continuous improvement plan within 5 working days of each iteration
• Submit bug reports and documented lessons identified within 5 working days
• Adhere to additional Direction & Guidance (D&G) from the AIRC2 Section Head

Requirements:

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance (valid at submission and throughout contract)
• Fluent in English with ability to produce and interpret technical/user documentation
• Advanced knowledge of JTS/FAST systems with proven course delivery experience
• Strong understanding of NATO doctrine and standards related to Common Operations
• NATO CIS Technical Instructor qualification (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of NATO Command Structure and NATO Force Structure
• Minimum 1 year experience developing technical documentation, training materials, and instructional aids
• Minimum 1 year experience working in an international military/civilian environment

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience with NCI Agency
• Experience with NCI Academy
• NATO CIS Technical Course Developer qualification (or equivalent)
• Familiarity with NATO C2 and Functional Services (e.g. NIRIS, AirC2IS MASE)
• Operational experience to contextualise training in real-world scenarios

Language Requirements:

• English proficiency at NATO STANAG 6001 Level 3 (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing)
• Equivalent to CEFR B2–C1 (Upper Intermediate to Advanced)
