Hours: 8 hours a day, 7-3, 8-4 or 9-5
Job Summary
Rhodium Consulting are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Administrator to support the day-to-day transactional finance for our Addlestone based client. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing high volumes of transactions accurately and efficiently, with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
• Accurately process supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Prepare payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, or cheques) and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable
• Raise and issue customer invoices.
• Allocate payments received against outstanding invoices.
• Chase overdue accounts and manage credit control processes.
• Reconcile customer accounts and respond to queries.
Bank and Cash Management
• Perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Post cash transactions into the accounting system.
• Monitor cash flow and support petty cash processing.
General Accounting Duties
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for management as required.
Requirements
• Proven experience in an Accounts Administrator or similar finance support role.
• Solid understanding of transactional finance processes (AP/AR/Bank Reconciliations).
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience using accounting software Xero would be beneficial
