An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join the Operations & Business Support team of a leading fiduciary and financial services organisation in Guernsey.
This is a varied operational role supporting the Fiduciary Services business, with responsibility for maintaining accurate statutory and client data, assisting with regulatory and registry submissions, supporting AML/CFT-related processes and helping ensure key operational information is complete, accurate and compliant.
The role would suit someone with existing Guernsey trust and company administration experience, strong attention to detail and a good understanding of regulatory and company secretarial requirements.
Key responsibilities
The role will include:
• Assisting with data reconciliation and exception reporting
• Supporting weekly and monthly reviews of key client and statutory information
• Assisting with the management and maintenance of statutory data within the core database
• Actioning operational tasks and workflows and helping reduce outstanding items
• Setting up and maintaining client and contact records
• Assisting with Guernsey Registry submissions and ensuring information held internally and at the Registry remains accurate
• Providing support with banking platforms
• Assisting with bank requests for information where the organisation holds introducer status
• Maintaining statutory records for in-house companies
• Assisting with the preparation of RORASQ documentation for Annual Validation filing deadlines
• Supporting company secretarial duties for in-house companies
• Assisting with operational and business support projects as required
Experience and qualifications
Applicants should have:
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
• Education to A Level standard or equivalent
• Previous Guernsey trust and company administration experience
• Knowledge of using the Guernsey Registry
• Basic Guernsey company secretarial experience
• A desire to work towards, or already hold, a relevant professional qualification such as STEP or CGI
Key skills
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
• Good IT skills, ideally including Excel and Word
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• A high level of accuracy when handling and inputting data
• Strong analytical skills
• Good awareness of operational risk and regulatory reporting requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative, team-focused approach
• The ability to maintain complete confidentiality
